Envisioned as a spot for diners to wait for tables at sister restaurant Félix Cocktails et Cuisine next door, this Upper King Street boîte opened late last year and has since taken on a life of its own. La Cave offers an urbane countryside interior, an impressive all-French wine list, and not-so-petite small plates ranging from duck confit gnocchi to a rich bouillabaisse with little neck clams. (ML)
